About
A services firm that can prove what it delivered.
SignalImpact, a dba of Dataken Inc. We sell the operational platform mission organizations run on — website, CRM, invoicing, payments — together with the AI layer none of the sector's vendors bring, and the people to operate all of it.
Why this exists
Mission organizations are served by two kinds of vendor. Software companies sell them platforms — websites, member records, invoicing, payments — and then leave the work of running them to a staff of two and a rotating cast of volunteers. Local IT shops and contract bookkeepers do the work, often well, but capacity ends at one person and nothing about the work is visible.
Neither brings AI, and that is not an oversight on their part. Real AI enablement is priced for organizations with IT budgets and sold to organizations with staff to operate it. A congregation with two administrators can neither afford it nor absorb it — if someone donated the licenses tomorrow, there would be nobody to configure them, read them, or act on what they found.
Neither model has an answer to the question that decides most of these engagements: how do we know it is getting done? A board approving an administrative contract is spending money the organization raised for something else. It deserves better evidence than an invoice and a good feeling.
Dataken has spent five years building infrastructure that answers exactly that question in commercial settings — capturing work signals at the desktop, mining them into the real shape of a process, and coaching against what it finds. SignalImpact points that infrastructure at a sector where every hour and every dollar is scarcer, and where the accountability matters more.
What we do not do
We do not fundraise. No donor development, no grant writing, no capital campaigns, no list rental. Those are relationship jobs that belong to your people, and a vendor who offers to take them over is usually selling you something else. Our contribution is giving your team back the hours currently spent on reconciliation and password resets.
We do sell a platform, and we would rather you were on it. But we will not pretend a migration is always worth it. If you run OmegaFi, ShulCloud, Blackbaud, or a filing cabinet that basically works, we will operate inside it and say so. We take no commission on any third-party product we recommend.
Where we stand
SignalImpact is a commercial firm, not a nonprofit. We are a vendor to this sector rather than a member of it, and we would rather say so plainly than borrow the moral standing of the organizations we serve. What we offer is competence, transparent pricing, and evidence.
Proof
One client, described honestly
We would rather publish a single real engagement than a wall of logos we do not have.

Website, CRM, contracting and invoicing/payments are in production. Managed IT, resourcing and OLi are not part of this engagement — we list what is live rather than what we sell.
This is our only client engagement in production. We are not going to imply otherwise, and there is no logo wall on this site because there is nothing honest to put on it.
The platform underneath
Operated by Dataken in production since before SignalImpact existed. These are Dataken's numbers — we do not have our own yet, and we will not imply otherwise.

SignalImpact launched in 2026 and has one client engagement in production, described above by type and scale. The platform figures are Dataken's, not a claimed SignalImpact track record. We publish no outcome percentages because we do not have any yet; when we do, they will appear here with the method attached.
